Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Pi Tau Omega Chapter. We are the 87th chapter chartered in the Great Lakes Region and the 5th graduate chapter in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Since 1987 we have served Southfield, Michigan and the surrounding areas.

 

It is my privilege and honor to serve as the 21st President of this award winning chapter, where we continue the legacy of service, sisterhood, and scholarship that has been at the heart of Alpha Kappa Alpha since 1908.

 

Our chapter is proud to represent the values and mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha through impactful programming, community outreach, and a dedication to empowering individuals and uplifting communities. As we embrace the international theme, “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”, our chapter remains steadfast in addressing the needs of our communities through innovative and meaningful initiatives.

 

As president, I am inspired daily by the collective strength, intelligence, and compassion of our members. Together, we are building a brighter future while preserving the rich heritage of our beloved sisterhood.
